Doug Baumber

Director (The one on the left)

As C.E.O of Parts Overnight Doug won national acclaim through focus on customer service and looking after his staff. Doug brings the same vigor and attention to detail to The Solar Broker as he did running Parts Overnight. Doug took Parts Overnight, a start up to the position of Industry Leader in a speciailist niche of the I.T. Industry in just one year and lead the company to National acclaim as Winner of Queensland Growth Company of the Year, I.T Award for Excellence in Service and ACC Rising Star Market Share Leader Award and Gold Coast I.T Business of the Year.

His clients included I.B.M.,Wang and Fujitsu. In his Youth Doug was awarded The Queen Scout Award as well as being heavily involved in sport and as a Scout Master. His background originally is medical. His passion is educating people about drug free solutions to ADHD, Autism and helping maximise a childs intellectual development.

Yasmin Steffe

Administration/Customer Service

Yasmin is the proud mother of three teenage boys, Former Miss Australia Finalist and Sprint Champion. You may have seen her on your bus as the face of American Express. Yasmin has a Double Diploma in Business and Managment. Yasmin’s role is to cordinate our installers and ensure that our customers have an excellent experience. Yasmin has years of experience in the travel, finance and fitness industry.

Ryan Steffe

Head Solar Consultant

Ryan, the son of Yasmin Steffe, was born in 2001. His mother ran a business called Women’s First Health and Fitness, which aimed to assist women with post-natal depression and losing baby fat. In 2009, Yasmin met Doug at an Isagenix function in Sanctuary Cove. Together, they ran a seminar called “Are You Killing Your Children?” from Yasmin’s home, where they educated parents on the importance of healthy eating for children.

Ryan is a perceptive and compassionate individual who understands the needs of the people he serves. While attending school, he worked 40-50 hours per week at Coles Supermarkets, starting as a “sexy checkout chick” and eventually becoming the youngest store manager in Queensland. Though this was against the rules, his principal and teachers recognized that he was on a different path than most.

After leaving school, Doug invited Ryan to join The Solar Broker. They took a road trip together to Newcastle, New South Wales, where Doug educated Ryan on how to help people benefit from solar energy. Over the past three years, Doug and Ryan have worked together to scale the business into what it is today. They are committed to continued growth and helping as many people as possible.
